Equine First Aid Seminar – rescheduled to Sun, March 17, 2019

March 17, 2019 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Harmony Stables

Why does it never fail that your horse gets sick or injured late at night or on the weekend when the vet clinic is closed?  When it’s time to check out the sickness or injury – what’s normal or abnormal for temp, pulse, respiration, gut sounds and dehydration? What are signs to look for if your horse is lame? If your horse needs a trip to the vet, and now needs after-care bandaging – what are the best methods to treat and wrap without causing further damage? Instructor Cherie Sanstead, Founder and Owner of Harmony Stables, will show you some tips and tricks to help make things easier for both you and your horse when an injury occurs.

Participants will receive both classroom time, complete with handouts, along with practice time on horses provided by Harmony.

$59 for the class, which includes practice bandaging materials.  Sign up by Friday, January 25 to receive $10 OFF!

This event is geared towards current horse owners, future horse owners, 4H’ers, private horse owners and those boarding horses.

No prior horse experience required. This program is located at our private indoor/outdoor riding arena near Bismarck.

Clinic runs from 1:00pm – 5:00pm.

Spots are limited for this special event, so be sure to register early.
