Introduction to Cowboy Dressage Clinic
Taught by Level 1 Cowboy Dressage Clinician, Dollie Horst

This clinic will cover all the basic ABC’s of Cowboy Dressage and will allow participants to ride and learn about maneuvers and components of riding a Cowboy Dressage Test. Riders must have their own horse and be comfortable with riding in groups of riders. Riders must be confident at the walk, trot (and preferably canter) to participate. All breeds welcome!

Dollie is a life long horse lover and career horsewoman with 19 years of farm and ranch management experience. She was introduced to Cowboy Dressage in 2015 while participating in a clinic with Cowboy Dressage Founder, Eitan Beth-Halachmy and was instantly hooked. Never before had she found a discipline that above all else put the horse first. In fact, “it’s not a discipline, but a lifestyle” we like to say! A lifestyle of leading into everything you do with kindness as the goal and guiding principle. To our horses this means lightness, softness, patience and rewarding the slightest try. By combining Western riding traditions with classical dressage concepts, Cowboy Dressage provides a way for riders from all walks of life to develop deep and harmonious relationships with their horses. Dollie has now worked several times with Eitan, as well as partner Lyn Ringrose-Moe and many other extremely talented Cowboy Dressage Clinicians, Judges and Educators whom she is proud to call friends. Dollie actively teaches and currently shows in the Open Division of Cowboy Dressage, and has shown at the Cowboy Dressage World Finals as a rider in both regular and gaited divisions, winning reserve champion awards in 2015 and 2016. She cannot wait to share Cowboy Dressage with North Dakota!

A note from the founding partners of Cowboy Dressage:

We have always felt that it takes courage to live your dreams. It is the goal of Cowboy Dressage World to help make your dreams a reality. Horsemanship is an arduous journey. A good relationship with a horse is an endless endeavor. There are highs and lows, frustration and joy, disappointment and achievement. Horses can stir all our deepest emotions. They heighten our senses and test our patience and knowledge. They can bring us peace and safe haven. Horses call to us and for many the call penetrates to the depth of our very being. Cowboy Dressage World wants you to experience it all. Open your heart and mind and let’s saddle up and ride!

-Eitan, Debbie, Garn, Lyn, and Wyatt
